  Obituary	From Richmond Times: John Adair Purcell, 71, of Hilton Head Island, S.C., died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at the Fraser Health Center. He was born February 14, 1934 in Washington, D.C., son of John Adair and Rebecca Trapnell Purcell. Mr. Purcell graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He retired from Westinghouse in Columbia, South Carolina and moved to Hilton Head Island. He is survived by his wife, Jean of Hilton Head Island; a son, Michael Purcell of Columbia, S.C.; and daughter, Suzanne Dempsey of North Carolina; his stepchildren, Judith McFall of Mooresville, N.C. and Henry McFall of Greenville, S.C.; and four grandchildren. Services will be held at Zion Episcopal Church in Charles Town, West Virginia at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, 20 Palmetto Parkway, Suite 104, Hilton Head Island, S.C. 29926. The Island Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.  [3]
