    Funeral services were held on Friday, July 20, in Zion Episcopal Church here for Mrs. Evelina Tucker Bedinger Beatty, 89, who died on July 17 in Foulk Manor, Wilmington, Delaware where she had resided for six years. The Rev. Roger Henshaw officiated. Burial was in the church yard.

    She was the widow of Philip A. Beatty, her second husband, who died in 1963. Her first husband, father of her 5 children was the Rev. Richard W. Trapnell, D. D., a native of Charles Town. He died in 1950.

    Mrs. Beatty is survived by Miss Frederica H. Trapnell, R. W. Trapnell, III and Mrs. James A. Hart, III all of Wilmington. Mrs. R. B. McIntosh of New York City and Mrs. H. R. Rawlings, Jr., of Norfolk, Va; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

    She was a member of the Colonial Dames of Delaware and was a desendant of Daniel Bedinger, Henry St. George Tucker and William Lucas, all of this county.
