Notes - 1915 West Point Classmate and lifelong friend of Dwight D Eisenhower. He and his wife had a private, off the record visit with the President at the White House on Feb. 11, 1959. The Eisenhower Library also notes the two corresponded with each other, and those letters are saved in their archives.
