  Obituary	From the Brooklyn Daily Times, 14 Jun 1899 WADING RIVER, June 14.-Mrs. Anna Adelia Coles. wife. of the late Thomas Coles died on June 7. She was devoted to her children and highly esteemed by her neighbors and friends. She was born at Glen Cove. where her girlhood days and early married life were spent. Some thirty vears ago, she with her family moved from Glen Cove to the "Old Horn Tavern" place between Wading River and Manor, living there about two years. then moved to Wading River where she lived until her death. She maintained a most cheerful and hopeful disposition. She was always ready to give sympathy and aid. For many years her life was devoted to the care and attention of an invalid son and almost helpless uncle whose lives were made easier and better by her, sacrificing attention to them. Since ber husband's death about eight years ago, she lived the greater part of the time with her daughter at the homestead in Wading River. The interment was at Wading River June 9..  [1]
