They resided in Michigan and had a family of eight children, six sons and two daughters. Their names are Samuel, Nelson, Daniel, David, James, Ulysses, Rachel and Amanda. After the death of his wife David Ebi spent some time in the far West. He built the first Methodist church in what was then the Territory of Colorado. With his second wife (a Mrs. Ko.
