  Obituary	From the Brooklyn Eagle, 18 Sep 1901: OBITUARY-LONG ISLAND. Mary Esther Hewlett. Oyster Bay, L. I., September 18-Mary Esther Hewlett, wife of Junius H. Hewlett and daughter of the late William Spriggs of Northport, died Monday evening at her home, Bayles Hill, aged 57 years. She was born in Northport and has resided in Oyster Bay a number of years. She leaves a husband and two daughters, Ethel, who lives in Brooklyn, and Phoebe, who lived with her parents. The funeral services were held at the house at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, the Rev. W H H Washburn of Christ Church officiating. The interment was at Brookville.  [2]
