  News Item	From the Brooklyn Eagle 15 Sep 1897: Phinney -Valentine. At high noon day the marriage of Miss Jean Falconer Valentine and Nelson on Clark Phinney was solemnized. The Rev. William H. Seeley, of Franklinville, for many years pastor of the Congregational Church, at Wading River, was present to perform the ceremony and also to christen the infant nephew of the bride, thus combining two sacred rites on one happy occasion.  [4]
