He was one of the pioneer school masaters of that section. He was married a second time and had a family of seventeen children, whose names were as follows: Samuel, Michael, Daniel, David, Gabriel, Peter, Mary, Susan, Salome, Joseph, Jacob, John, Catharine, Elizabeth, Adam, Thomas, and Simon. Of the descendants of some of these nothing is known and but little has bee.
