Retired teacher dies in Los Altos
Miss Josephine M. R. Byrne, retired school teacher and dietician, died Friday at her home 373 Pine Lane, Los Altos. She was 85. A native of Michigan, Miss Byrne came to California in 1912 and taught in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties until 1934, when she retired and moved to Los Altos.
She resided with her sister, Miss Susan L. Byrne, of the same address, who survives her.
