From Findagrave: "Thompson Cemetery WAS located in Section 18 of Mottville Township, on the south banks of the Pigeon River, Saint Joseph Co., MI. Thompson Cemetery was on a private farm that had become marshy and overgrown. In the 1950's, the markers that could be located (about 9 were unable to be located) were moved to Mottville Township Cemetery and the current memorial was erected in the Southeast corner of Mottville Township Cemetery."
