Text	Joseph G. Wainwright. Joseph G. Wainwright, 55 years old, is dead at the family residence on Fifth avenue, near the Beechwood boulevard, East End. He had been suffering for six months with sarcoma, for which he underwent an operation in New York about three months ago. He declined rapidly during the past few days. Mr. Wainwright was well known in Pittsburg business and manufacturing circles. His father was Zacharias Wainwright,with whom he was engaged for a number of years in the brewing business, the firm name being Z. Wainwright & Co. Later Mr. Wainwright withdrew from active participation in the brewery business, and for some time had been president of the Armenia Fire Insurance Co.; also president of the Fayette Manufacturing Co. and of the Basic Brick Co. He was married to Miss Margaret Riddell, who died about 12 years ago. He is survived by one son, John R. Wainwright, and one daughter, Miss Josephine Wainwright, both of whom made their home with their father. Two sisters also survive him -- Mrs. W L Abbott, of Pittsburg, and Mrs. Martha Bloor. of Menor. Tex.
