Text Elizabeth Byrne Follett died In Windham on Saturday at the home of William Swift, her brother-in-law, where she had lived the last fourteen years. She was the daughter of Samuel H. and Mary Gray Byrne of Windham.

Her grandfather, Samuel Gray, was a deputy commissary general under Governor Jonathan Trumbull and she was also a descendant of Colonel Jededlah Einerkin, a member of the governor's council of safety and also a member of the committee which ratified the constitution of the United States. Mrs. Follett was a member of the Windham Congregational Church. She is survived by a son, George Follett, of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Mary G. Preston, for many years a missionary in China and now a resident of Portland, Ore. Although having a very quiet and unassuming disposition, Mrs. Follett had made many warm friends in her life and her death will be sincerely mourned. The funeral will be held at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at her late home and the burial will be in Windham.
