Daughter of Seminary Dean is Fiancee of Stephen L. Thomas, Who is Student
Alexandria, Va, April 7 -- The Very Rev. E. Felix Kloman, dean of the Protestant Episcopal Theological Seminary here, and Mr.s Kloman of Alexandria and Tenants Harbor, Me., have made known the engagement of their daughter, Miss Olivia Lewis Kloman, to Stephen Larned Thomas.
Mr. Thomas is a son of Mrs. Francis DeLashumutt Thomas of Washington and the late Mr.Thomas. He and his fiancee plan to be married in June.
The prospective bride studied at the Springside School in Philadelphia and graduated from the National Cathedral School for Girls in Washington. She also studied at Mary Washington College. Miss Kloman is a provisional member of the Junior League in Washington.
Her father is a former associate rector of Grace protestant Episcopal Church in New York.
She is a granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Henry Felix Kloman of Warrenton, Va., and Charles Town, W. Va., and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emile Pragoff of Louisville, Ky.
The bride-to-be is a descendant of John Marshall, fourth Chief Justice of the United states, and a great-great-great-granddaughter of Gen. Charles Scott, who was Governor of Kentucky and a general on Washington's staff during the Revolutionary War. She is related to the Lewis and Rogers families of Virginia.
