  Text	In the matter of the Application of Q V R Serles for a license to marry Olive E Rue. Q V R Serles and __ being first duly sworn, each for himself, doth depose and say that he knows the above-named Olive E Rue she is a native of Kansas, that she is of the age of Twenty One years, and a resident of Hollister, County of San Benito, and the said Q V R Serles being further sworn, deposes and says that his name is Q V R Serles that he is a native of New York that he is of the age of Forty Six years, and a resident of Hollister, County of San Benito, State of California, and he knows of no legal objections to their marriage. Q V R Serles Subscribed and sworn to me before this 7th day of Sept AD 1883 Thos McMahon County Clerk
