Mr. Scheiner of Emerson Street, Shadyside, a World War II veteran, was a leader in many civic causes in McKeesport. He was a member of Temple B'Nai Israel in McKeesport. Surviving are his wife, Edith Appelbaum Scheiner; a daughter, Harriet Scheiner of Pittsburgh; two sons, Samuel Scheiner of Dekalb, Ill., and Avram Scheiner of Cleveland; and a granddaughter.
